1st Five Developmental Support Specialist

What You'll Do
As a 1st Five Developmental Support Specialist, you'll make a real difference by:
- Partnering with families to support healthy child development.
- Building relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
- Empowering parents with education, guidance, and support.
- Build trusting relationships with families while serving as a guide and advocate throughout their child's developmental journey.
- Conduct developmental screenings and developmental monitoring.
- Connect families with medical, dental, behavioral health, and community resources.
- Coordinate referrals and help families overcome barriers to accessing care, including scheduling appointments, transportation, and identifying payment resources.
- Provide education and anticipatory guidance that promotes healthy child development.
- Assist with quality assurance activities, chart audits, and documentation.
- Maintain timely, accurate records while meeting agency and grant reporting requirements.
- Represent Firefly professionally through community outreach and partnerships
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is caring, organized, and passionate about helping others.
- Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field, RN or LPN
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout our six-county service area
- Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply!
